iDig Pixels
ONE DROP. CHAIN REACTION.
You drop one pixel. It lands on its own color and they pop. Whatever was resting on them falls, lands on its own color, and that pops too. Then the next one. Then the whole screen is going off like a string of firecrackers, the announcer is losing it, and all you did was let go.
That is iDig Pixels. It is the feeling of tipping the first domino, in an arcade game that looks and sounds like the ones you grew up on.
HOW IT PLAYS
Drag to aim. Let go to drop. Match a color and everything touching it goes. Every drop pushes the pile up from below, so keep digging. One thumb, five seconds to learn, and "one more run" for a lot longer than that.
IT GOES DEEPER THAN IT LOOKS
- CHAIN REACTIONS THAT BUILD. One drop can clear half the screen. Keep the chain alive and the count climbs into the thousands.
- 72 PICTURES BURIED IN THE PILE. A mixtape. A floppy disk. INSERT COIN. Many of them are animated and keep moving while you dig them out. Destroy each one to fill your gallery.
- 5 POWER PIXELS. Wipe a whole color off the screen. Drill straight to the bottom. Crush twelve rows flat. Paint the board one color. Or drop the Mega Pixel and stand back.
- EVERY PIXEL HAS A FACE. They flinch when the one beside them pops, sweat when the pile climbs too high, doze off when you take too long and cheer a big combo.
- AN ANNOUNCER WITH ATTITUDE. Three voices and more than 250 lines, from "Nice One!" all the way up to "PIXEL GOD", with plenty to say about how shallow you are on the way down.
- DEAD PIXELS. They match nothing, and they spread. Pop a color beside them to bring them back to life.
- MUSIC THAT NEVER LOOPS. Six styles, from chiptune to steel drums, written as you play and picking up speed when you do.
- TINY 3D CUT SCENES for the moments when a power pixel is about to ruin everybody's day.
- Daily rewards, daily goals, and a shop that runs on the bytes you earn by playing.
HOW DEEP CAN YOU DIG?
There is no bottom. There is your best, and the next drop.
Sound on. The announcer insists.
